Gallery

Photo management without the extra clutter

Gallery is a photography app from Google LLC for browsing, sorting, and making simple changes to photos and videos stored on an Android device. It suits people who want a focused media library rather than a service built around online backup, sharing, or social features. The app is designed to work offline, which makes it useful when mobile data is limited or when your files should stay on the phone.

Find pictures more easily

Gallery can organize media into practical groups such as people, selfies, nature, and documents. This gives a large camera roll more structure without requiring every image to be placed in a folder by hand. Folder and SD card support also help users who keep photos across different storage locations, letting them move or copy files as part of normal library management.

Simple tools for everyday edits

The editing side is aimed at quick improvements rather than detailed photo production. Its one-tap enhancement option can adjust elements such as lighting, contrast, and colour balance, making it suitable for cleaning up a picture before sending or sharing it. The interface keeps the main tasks close to the surface, so browsing, grouping, and basic editing do not require a complicated workflow.
