Wallpapers for Android personalization

Wallpapers is Google’s wallpaper browsing and setup app for Android phones. It gives you a place to choose images for your home screen and lock screen, with collections covering subjects such as landscapes, satellite views and other curated artwork. It suits anyone who wants to change a phone’s appearance without searching across separate image apps.

Browse, preview and refresh

The app is built around visual categories rather than editing tools. You can browse available artwork, preview how an image fits the screen and apply it as a background. Selected categories can also provide a fresh wallpaper each day, which is useful if you like regular changes but do not want to choose a new image manually.

Depending on the Android device, the app can also work with personal images from the phone’s gallery. Home-screen and lock-screen choices may be set separately, allowing a simpler lock screen and a more distinctive home screen.

Who it suits

• Good for: users who want a straightforward wallpaper picker with Google-curated imagery.
• Useful for: people who prefer automatic daily changes or want to use their own photos alongside the built-in collections.
• Less suited to: anyone looking for detailed wallpaper editing, filters or graphic-design controls.
