Wing - Drone delivery

Local shopping by drone

Wing - Drone delivery connects shoppers with nearby businesses and sends eligible orders by autonomous drone. It is aimed at people who need a small food, household, or pharmacy purchase brought to them without relying on a conventional road courier. Availability depends on whether Wing operates in your area and whether the selected address falls inside its delivery zone.

What the app is for

The app works as a local marketplace for quick, lightweight orders rather than a general-purpose shopping catalogue. You can browse participating stores, choose available items, provide a delivery location, and follow the order as it moves through fulfilment. Map-based location checks are important here, since drone service is limited to approved areas and suitable drop-off points.

Who may find it useful

Wing suits households that want rapid access to everyday essentials, particularly when a nearby shop stocks what they need but a trip is inconvenient. It is less suitable for large baskets, bulky goods, or shoppers outside an active service area. The service is also designed around local partner availability, so the selection can vary by address.

Ratings and publisher

Published by Wing Aviation LLC, the app has a 4.806667 rating from 2,236 reviews and records 100,000+ installs. Those figures suggest strong interest from users who can access the service, while the location-based model remains the main factor determining whether it is useful to you.
