YouTube TV: Live TV & more

Live television without a cable box

YouTube TV: Live TV & more is a streaming television service for viewers in the United States who want live broadcast, cable, sports, news, entertainment and children’s channels in one place. It suits households that prefer watching on a phone, tablet, computer or TV instead of using a traditional cable setup.

Channels, sports and local coverage

The service brings together more than 100 networks, with availability varying by location. Its lineup includes major broadcast channels such as CBS, FOX and NBC, along with networks covering news, sports, lifestyle, drama, comedy and children’s programming. Local sports and news are included where supported, making this a practical option for following regional coverage as well as national shows.

• Broadcast and cable entertainment channels
• Sports networks and selected regional sports coverage
• National and local news options
• Children’s channels and family programming

Cloud DVR and household viewing

A cloud DVR lets members record live programmes without managing physical storage. Recordings remain available for nine months. A household can use up to six accounts, allowing each person to keep separate logins, recommendations and DVR content. This setup is useful when several viewers share a subscription but watch different kinds of television.

Membership details and app information

YouTube TV uses a month-to-month membership model rather than a long-term contract, and members can cancel at any time. The app is published by Google LLC and listed in the Entertainment category. It has a 3.83/5 rating from more than 156,000 reviews, with 10,000,000+ installs. Availability is nationwide in the United States, subject to local channel coverage.
